Returns and Exchange Policy

We are proud of the high-quality products we offer. We hope you enjoy your purchase at the Beach Shop and are delighted every time you shop with us. We understand, however, that there may be a situation where you wish to cancel, return or exchange your order.  

Order Cancellations

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased from BeachShop, for a full refund. Order cancellations must be made in writing, quoting your order number, within 7 working days of the day after you receive the goods to “returns@BeachShop.co.uk”.

To cancel your Order please contact us by writing to us at returns@BeachShop.co.uk and state your order reference. If however your order has already been processed, you will need to return the order to us.

How to Return an Item to Us              

If you are cancelling your order or not completely satisfied with your purchase, contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) reference, (our warehouse is a busy place and we need to know who has sent us what parcel).  Then simply return the item or items to us in their original condition* within 14 days of receipt with the RMA details.

We will issue a refund on receipt, or exchange the item for a different size / colour if preferred. However delivery charges are only refundable if you have cancelled your entire order within the 7 day Cooling-Off Period or where the goods are faulty and a refund is made.

Please note:

• The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.
• The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.
• The parcel can take up to 7 working days to be returned to our Warehouse, unless sent via special delivery.

Steps to Return an Item to Us

Step1: Contact Us within 14 Days

You must contact us at returns@BeachShop.co.uk within 14 working days after the day after you receive the goods. We will then issue you a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA).

Step 2: Return the Goods and RMA

Once you receive the RMA form from us, please send your returned good to us within 7 days of obtaining the RMA. Please complete the RMA and send both the RMA and parcel to:

You are responsible for all return shipping charges. It is advised that you send the items via registered post so that they can be tracked. You will also be responsible for the postal insurance of the goods during shipping until we receive them. Please retain your proof of posting and the tracking number until your refund has been processed.

*Note: when trying on items of clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing perfume / aftershave or a deodorant which may leave a scent or marks on the item. We will be unable to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed. The item must be returned in its original packaging with any enclosed documentation. Jewellery care guidelines: Avoid contact with perfume, deodorant, hairspray or water. Avoid scratching your jewellery by storing in a non-abrasive box or pouch. Handle with care and do not apply any unnecessary force.

Important: Swimwear returns will not be accepted if the hygienic protection label has been removed.

You must not remove any security tags or the original tamper-proof packaging until you are sure you want to keep the goods. We cannot refund items if their tamper-proof tags or packaging have been opened, damaged or removed. We cannot refund or exchange items that have been worn or damaged.

Step3: Goods are checked

Upon receiving your returned items, we will examine the packaging and condition to see if you qualify for a return. If our inspection is satisfactory, we will notify you by email.

Step4: Refund is issued

A full refund will be processed and issued to your original payment method as soon as possible and within 30 days of your cancelling the order.

Faulty Item

If the item you received is faulty, please contact customer care quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return. You have 30 days from receipt of the faulty item to return it to us.

I received the wrong item

Sometimes our beach boys get things wrong… so we if the item you received is not what you originally ordered we do apologise, please contact “customerservice@beachshop.co.uk” quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return.

Discount codes & vouchers

If a discount was applied to your original order, the amount refunded will be adjusted to allow for the revised order value and appropriate discount level. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Late and unacceptable returns

If you return items to us after the expiry of the 7 days once receiving the RMA and/or in an unacceptable condition, we may not refund your account. An administration charge of £4.95 for smaller items, and £12.95 for larger items will be made. We may, at our discretion, return your items to you (at a cost to you of the actual postage rate). If you send the items back to us again, or refuse to accept delivery, this will be deemed as irreversible authority for us to dispose of your goods without further notice. Disposal will not constitute any admission on our part that we have failed in any way to honour our obligations to you in full and will not constitute any unlawful action against the goods. Acceptance of a return by your courier is not deemed to be acceptance by the company. This does not affect your statutory rights.
